There are many variations of the standard C language, but learning a typical C language should enable the programmer to use any type of C compiler. This book is about C programming. It is intended for use in an undergraduate university level course. The book should also be useful to practicing engineers in industry. The book assumes no previous programming knowledge and as a result it can be used by anyone who is interested in learning the C programming language. The book includes a large number of programming examples. The theory of the C language is given in each chapter, supported by complete programming examples. A large number of exercises are provided at the end of every chapter. Users should attempt to solve these exercises after gaining an understanding of the theory. All the examples given in the book have been compiled and tested on a PC.
