Aman aman olmasa da severek okuduğum bir seridir kendileri.Ana adlı yarı vampir yarı cadı (annesi cadıların kraliçesi, babası vampirlerin prensi) bir kızın kendisi, hayatı ve şu cadı vampir toplulukları hakkındaki gerçekleri öğrenmesi ve sürekli olarak iki grup arasında çıkan savaşları önleme çabasını anlatıyor.
Bu kitapta Ana üç erkek arasında sıkışıp kalıyor, Thompson (Normal bir çocuk) , Nick (bir vampir avcısı) ve Elias( güçlü bir vampir). Ama bundan daha önemlisi, Ana'nın iki kere ertelediği ve tamamlanması için bir cadının ölmesi gereken ritüel yüzünden vampirler açlıkla mücadele etmekte, yani etrafın kana bulanmasına çok az kaldı. Kimseyi öldürmeden nasıl bu işin içinden çıkarım?

Ayrıca şehirde yeni bir Dhampir (yarı vampir, yarı cadı) var ve Elies'ı kendi komutanına eş olarak istiyor. Açlık Ana'yı da etkiliyor...
Ama Ana'nın aklına harika bir fikir geliyor, kendisinin iki ruhu olduğu. İki tarafında iyiliği için cadı ruhunu feda etmeye hazır. Ama ya vampir kısmı tamamen farklıysa ve o değişim geçirirse?
Buna rağmen Ana kendini feda etmeye hazır. Ne kadar cesur değil mi? Biraz da aptalca. Ölebilir çünkü, temelli.
Kitabın sonunda ise Ana'nın iki ruhu birleşiyor ve Tüm vampirlerin Kraliçesi oluyor.
Bazı yerleri saçma gelen, akıcı sevimli bir hikaye Almost Everything. Madison Avery serisinin vampir hali gibi geliyor bana. Aslında söylenecek pek bir şey. Orta hallii vakit geçirmek okunabilir.
