Bol bol filmlere gönderme yapan, biraz gereğinden fazla uzun, eğlenceli bir kitaptı.İki ana kahramanımız var: Will ve Charlie. Burada asıl problematik kişi Charlie. Çocukluğundan beri ailesinin tüm yükünü taşıyan Charlie, bu yükün altında eziliyor. Üstelik önceki yıllarda sarhoş bir sürücünün ona çarpıp sakat bırakması ve sürekli ağrılarla boğuşması da pek kolaylık sağlamıyor. Yorgun, onun yükünü paylaşabilecek bir partner'e ihtiyacı var.
Hayatını biraz da o zorlaştırıyor. Bunu da söylemek gerek.
