'Akıllı', 'mantıklı' insanların kitabı. 'Normal' insana 'bir de bu açıdan bakın' diyen bir kitap, çok farklı ve süper bir kitap. Felsefi kurgu arayanlara özellikle tavsiye ederim.

Aynı güzelliği orjinal dilinde de buldum. Dikkatimden kaçan birçok ayrıntıyı İngilizcesinde yakaladım. Tavsiye edilir.
Yazar bu kitapta bireyciliğin manifestosunu yazmış. Felsefi temelden yoksun olsa da kapitalizmin mantığını çok yalın ve roman diliyle anlatmış. Vicdani değerler, sosyal devlet gibi kavramlara teğet geçerek yazılmış temel ülküsü "laissez faire laissez passer" olan subjektif bir başyapıt denilebilir belki. Uzun seneler önce Bir Pınar ki adıyla çıkan kitabı çok daha iyidir kanımca.
Çok iyi bir kitaptı.
Ancak 1500 sayfalık bir kitabı okumak biraz da fizik gücü gerektiriyor gibi.
Konu ilginç olsada bukadar uzun olmasını anlamlandıramadım.Sayfa sayısı üzerinden para verilmiş gibi diyaloglar uzatıldıkça uzatılıp sıkıcı hale getirilmiş Sıkıldığım bölümler oldukça çoktu. Hatta kitabın yarısında başka kitaplara başlayıp onları bitirdim. :(

Atlas Silkindi aslında kısaca devlet müdahalesinin artması sonucu işverenlerin greve gittiği ve böylece bir sistemin çöküşünü anlatan tezli bir roman. 1000 sayfadan fazla. Acayip sürükleyici ve nitelikli bir anlatı olabilecekken didaktik bir üslupla yazıldığı ve savunduğu tezi çok vurguladığı için gereksiz uzatılmış bir eser bence.
He eleştirileri yerinde mi yerinde ama tarihsel açıdan önemli bir eser olsa da ilgi çekici konusuna rağmen şurada da - https://kitapyorumlar.com/ayn-rand-atlas-silkindi-incelemesi/ - anlatıldığı üzere edebi açıdan çok da yeterli değil bence.
